Customer service quality has gone downhill everywhere except Bet365. All British Casino took 6 days to respond to a withdrawal query. Six days! For a £180 cashout that should be instant.

Meanwhile had an issue with Bet365 at 2am and got through to someone in 3 minutes. You get what you pay for with the bigger operators.

    • RE: UK online casino reviews - how much weight should you give Trustpilot scores?

@bonushunter1 That's some next-level mental gymnastics mate! Of course it matters if reviews are fake. What if you'd chosen them over a genuinely better site because of manipulated scores?

It's like saying counterfeit money is fine if you can still buy stuff with it before anyone notices.

    • RE: Gaming websites UK - what separates the trustworthy ones from the dodgy operators?

@jackpot_jane So true! Tried playing Gates of Olympus on some licensed site - kept freezing mid-spin. That's £200 I'll never see again probably.

    • RE: Low deposit casinos UK - which let you play with £5 or less and still get a decent bonus?

Has anyone tried the new SpinYoo casino? Saw they're advertising £1 deposits, though I'm skeptical about how legitimate that is.

Seems too good to be true, and we all know what they say about things that seem too good to be true in gambling...

    • RE: Best online casino review sites UK - which ones aren't just promoting paid partners?

Here's a controversial take: maybe we don't need review sites at all?

Just stick to UKGC licensed casinos, read the T&Cs yourself, and start with small deposits. Most "reviews" tell you nothing the casino's own website doesn't already state.

The best review is your own £20 test deposit and withdrawal attempt.

    • RE: Best car raffles UK - BOTB vs others, where do you actually stand a chance?

This is why I stick to proper casinos. Yeah, LeoVegas might take their cut, but at least when I'm playing Gates of Olympus I know it's 96.5% RTP. Won £2,300 last month and had it in my bank within 24 hours.

These car raffle sites? You're just hoping they're not complete cowboys.

    • RE: BOTB reviews UK - is it worth entering car raffles or just a money sink?

The irony is that these car raffles probably have worse odds than hitting the jackpot on some progressive slots. At least Mega Moolah tells you upfront it's a 1 in 50 million shot!

@mike_bet Cut your losses and stick to proper casino games where the maths is transparent.

    • RE: Solitaire Cash UK review - is it actually legit or one of those fake money apps?

@jackpot_jane That's surprisingly deep for a gambling forum! I'd say it depends entirely on the individual's mindset. Some people genuinely enjoy the games, others are just chasing the cash. The app itself doesn't care - it profits either way.

    • RE: Stake UK reviews - is it actually accessible for UK players and is it legit?

Been following this thread with interest. The irony is that Stake probably offers better responsible gambling tools than half the UKGC licensed sites I've used. Their loss limits actually work properly, unlike William Hill where I managed to blow through my daily limit three times in one session due to 'technical issues'.

Regulation isn't always protection - sometimes it's just theatre.

    • RE: BetMGM UK review - is it any better than the US version or just rebranded?

@poker_pete_uk Zero chance of US poker integration happening. UKGC and US state regulators don't play nice with shared liquidity. We'll be stuck with our smaller player pools indefinitely.
