VIP treatment has changed massively too. Used to get proper hospitality from Coral - football tickets, restaurant vouchers, personal account managers who actually answered phones.

Now it's all automated 'rewards'. Spin £1000 get 10 free spins. Wow, thanks for the £1 bonus for my grand in losses!

    • RE: Best gambling sites UK overall - after all the regulation, which ones still offer real value?

@bonushunter1 Couldn't agree more. I'm supposedly 'Diamond VIP' at three different sites and the benefits are laughable compared to what they used to be.

Though to be fair, 32Red still treats their long-term players reasonably well. Got a £500 bonus last month with only 10x wagering, which is almost unheard of now.

    • RE: UK online casino reviews - how much weight should you give Trustpilot scores?

@newbie_casino Go with Unibet mate, no contest. VoodooDreams might have better fake reviews but Unibet has been around forever and their NetEnt integration is solid.

Check the UKGC register, read recent Reddit posts, maybe test with a small deposit first. Forget Trustpilot entirely.

    • RE: Gaming websites UK - what separates the trustworthy ones from the dodgy operators?

Customer service response time is everything. Had a bonus dispute with Paddy Power - resolved in 30 minutes via live chat. Same issue with Coral took 6 days and three emails. Both owned by the same company!

    • RE: Low deposit casinos UK - which let you play with £5 or less and still get a decent bonus?

Thread's gone a bit quiet but thought I'd add - Tote Casino does £3 deposits if you're really strapped for cash. It's quite niche (horse racing themed) but they have all the standard Pragmatic Play and Red Tiger slots.

No bonus on small deposits but hey, £3 can give you a decent session on Sweet Bonanza at minimum stake.

    • RE: Best online casino review sites UK - which ones aren't just promoting paid partners?

@sarah_g The corruption runs deep. I know someone who worked for a major review site - they literally had a spreadsheet of commission rates that determined rankings.

Higher commission = higher ranking, regardless of player experience. It's that simple and that disgusting.

The only solution is regulatory pressure, but good luck getting politicians to understand affiliate marketing complexities.

    • RE: Best car raffles UK - BOTB vs others, where do you actually stand a chance?

@newbie_casino Exactly right mate. Car raffles often aren't classified as gambling so they fall under different rules. The prize gets treated as income.

Proper gambling sites like 888 Casino or Virgin Games? Your winnings are tax-free because you've already paid tax on the money you used to gamble with.

    • RE: BOTB reviews UK - is it worth entering car raffles or just a money sink?

The existential question here is whether hope itself has value. These car raffles are essentially selling hope at a massive premium.

But is false hope worth £200? I'd rather buy genuine entertainment and accept smaller, more frequent wins. At least Immortal Romance gives me proper value for money.

    • RE: Solitaire Cash UK review - is it actually legit or one of those fake money apps?

@bonushunter1 That's brilliant, thanks! Never heard of Blackout Bingo but 80% success rate sounds decent. Is it available in the UK or US only?

    • RE: 7days.co.uk reviews - has anyone actually used this? Getting mixed signals

Been lurking this thread with interest. I actually tried 7days about 6 months ago - bigger deposit than most here, £500. Games ran fine, good selection from Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play. Won £850, withdrew the lot. Took 5 working days but it came through.
