Yukon Gold Casino review - UK players, is it worth signing up or a waste of time?
-
Been lurking but thought I'd chime in. Here's how I'd compare some alternatives:
Casino Withdrawal Speed Game Variety Support Quality License Yukon Gold 3-5 days Good Average Malta Jackpot City 2-4 days Excellent Good Malta Spin Casino 4-6 days Good Poor Malta Casumo 1-2 days Excellent Excellent UKGC Yukon Gold sits comfortably in the middle of the pack. Nothing special but nothing offensive either.

@roulette_rob Nice table mate! Really puts things in perspective.
One thing I'd add about Yukon Gold - their wagering requirements are 70x which is mental by today's standards. Most decent places are 35x max now. That welcome bonus looks tasty until you realize you need to wager £700 to withdraw anything from a £10 deposit.
-
Christ, 70x wagering? That's taking the piss. No wonder they can afford all those advertising campaigns.
I'll stick with my current rotation of Bet365 and PlayOJO thanks. At least with UKGC sites you know where you stand, even if the fun police have neutered the experience somewhat.
-
Different perspective here - sometimes these older sites like Yukon Gold are more lenient with problem gambling measures. Not saying that's good or bad, just stating facts.
If you're looking for a quick flutter without deposit limits and reality checks every 5 minutes, places like this fill that gap. Whether that's ethical is another debate entirely.
-
@tom_slots That's exactly why I use non-UKGC sites occasionally. Sometimes you just want to play without being lectured about responsible gambling every session.
Yukon Gold's mobile app is decent enough. Crashed on me twice in 3 months but that's better than some bigger names I could mention. cough 888 Casino cough

Reading all these yukon gold casino reviews and I'm still torn. Is there a minimum withdrawal amount? And do they actually pay out big wins?
Heard horror stories about some Malta licensed places just closing accounts when you hit something decent. Anyone experienced this with Yukon Gold specifically?
-
@newbie_casino Minimum withdrawal is £50 I think. Never had issues with payouts but my biggest win was only £1,200 on Gates of Olympus. Nothing that would make them sweat.
They're owned by Casino Rewards Group which operates loads of similar sites. Been around for years so they're not likely to do a runner, but they're not exactly innovative either.
-
Casino Dan still around? You asked the question then vanished!
My take: Yukon Gold is fine for what it is. Old school online casino with bog standard Microgaming games and average everything else. If you're expecting bells and whistles, look elsewhere. If you want somewhere to spin slots without drama, it'll do the job.
Personally prefer Mystake or GoldenBet for non-UKGC action these days.
-
@vip_player_uk Still here mate, just been reading rather than posting!
Cheers everyone for the detailed responses. Think I'll give it a miss based on the feedback. That 70x wagering requirement is a joke, and if it's just 'average' across the board, I'd rather stick with what I know.
Might look into Mystake instead - keep seeing that mentioned as a decent alternative.

Bit late to the party but thought I'd add my two pence. Used Yukon Gold for about 6 months last year. The novelty wore off pretty quickly - same old Microgaming slots I'd played a thousand times elsewhere.
Withdrawal to my Monzo card took 4 days for £280. No hassles but nothing to write home about either. Perfectly adequate if you set your expectations accordingly.
