Solitaire Cash UK review - is it actually legit or one of those fake money apps?
-
Been seeing loads of ads for Solitaire Cash lately and wondering if anyone's actually tried it here in the UK? The adverts make it look like you can win proper cash playing solitaire but I'm skeptical. Done a bit of research for this solitaire cash review uk but can't find much from actual UK users.
Anyone know if Solitaire Cash is legit UK or just another one of those apps that promises the world but never pays out? Looking for some best free game apps to win real money uk if this one's dodgy.
-
Mate, I tried it about 6 months ago. You can win small amounts but the withdrawal process is an absolute nightmare. Had £23 pending for weeks before I just gave up. Stick to proper UKGC licensed sites like Bet365 or William Hill if you want guaranteed payouts.
-
@mobile_gambler I actually use it regularly! Won about £47 over 3 months but you have to be realistic about expectations. It's not going to make you rich but it's decent pocket money for something you'd do anyway. Withdrawals take 7-10 days to PayPal.

The mathematics behind these skill-based gaming apps is fascinating. If we consider the expected value formula: E(X) = Σ(x × P(x)), where X represents potential winnings and P(x) is the probability of each outcome, most players will find E(X) < entry_fee due to the house edge built into tournament structures. The app needs to profit somehow!
@sarah_g £47 in 3 months sounds about right for casual play.
-
Honestly, these game apps are just glorified gambling with extra steps. At least with slots like Starburst on LeoVegas you know the RTP is 96.09% and regulated. These solitaire apps? Who knows what the actual payout percentage is.
-
@casino_dan What exactly went wrong with your withdrawal? Did they ask for loads of verification documents or just ignore you completely?
-
@newbie_casino They kept asking for more and more verification. First it was ID, then bank statements, then proof of address. After the third round of documents I just thought sod it. Compare that to my experience with PlayOJO - verified in 2 hours, withdrawal processed same day.
-
The irony here is people are looking for 'free' ways to win money while ignoring that time is money. If you spent those hours doing literally anything productive instead of playing solitaire for pennies, you'd be better off financially.
-
@lucy_wins That's a bit harsh! Some people genuinely enjoy playing these games for relaxation. If you can make a few quid while doing something you'd do anyway, why not? Not everyone's grinding for maximum profit per hour.
-
Cheers for all the responses! @sarah_g your experience sounds promising but @casino_dan's withdrawal issues are concerning. Think I might stick to my usual haunts like Casumo for now. At least I know my winnings will actually reach my account!

Here's my comparison of different money-winning apps I've tried:
App Name Min Withdrawal Processing Time Success Rate My Rating Solitaire Cash £10 7-14 days 60% 3/5 Blackout Bingo £5 3-7 days 80% 4/5 Pool Payday £15 10+ days 40% 2/5 Swagbucks £1 1-3 days 95% 5/5 Swagbucks isn't gaming but it's the most reliable for small payouts.
-
@bonushunter1 That's brilliant, thanks! Never heard of Blackout Bingo but 80% success rate sounds decent. Is it available in the UK or US only?
-
Am I the only one who finds it mental that we're discussing 'skill-based' solitaire for money when you can play actual skill games like poker at PokerStars Casino? At least there you're competing against real opponents, not some algorithm designed to extract maximum revenue.
-
@roulette_rob Fair point, but not everyone wants the pressure of poker. Sometimes I just want to chill with a simple card game while commuting. Different strokes for different folks!
-
The existential question here is whether we're playing games to win money or playing games disguised as money-making opportunities. There's a philosophical distinction between entertainment with potential profit and profit-seeking disguised as entertainment. Which camp does Solitaire Cash fall into?
-
@jackpot_jane That's surprisingly deep for a gambling forum! I'd say it depends entirely on the individual's mindset. Some people genuinely enjoy the games, others are just chasing the cash. The app itself doesn't care - it profits either way.
-
Update on this - just tried Solitaire Cash myself after reading this thread. Won £8.50 in my first week but the cash-out process is definitely sketchy. They want a £2 'processing fee' for withdrawals under £25. That's an 8% fee on small amounts - absolutely taking the piss!
-
@withdrawal_king £2 processing fee?! That's daylight robbery. Even the worst non-UKGC casinos don't charge that much. You're better off playing Dead or Alive 2 at Mr Green - at least the 96.82% RTP is transparent.
-
Been following this thread with interest. The processing fee revelation from @withdrawal_king is the nail in the coffin for me. I'll stick to my weekly flutter on Sweet Bonanza at Virgin Games - at least I know exactly what I'm getting into!

This whole thread is like watching people debate the nutritional value of different flavours of crisps. They're all junk food at the end of the day! If you want real money from card games, learn proper poker strategy and play live dealer games at Evolution Gaming tables.
