Don't forget about withdrawal minimums though! I learned this the hard way - deposited £5 at Casumo, ran it up to £23, then discovered they have a £20 minimum withdrawal.

Managed to lose those extra £3 trying to get over the threshold. Sometimes these low deposit casinos get you with the backend restrictions.

@withdrawal_king That's a crucial point that everyone overlooks! What's the point of a £5 deposit if you can't withdraw unless you hit £20+?

Virgin Games has £5 deposits AND £10 minimum withdrawals, which seems more reasonable. Though their game selection is a bit limited compared to the bigger sites.

This whole thread makes me philosophical about gambling, you know? Here we are dissecting £2.50 bonuses and withdrawal minimums like ancient scholars debating the number of angels on a pinhead.

Maybe the real question isn't which casino accepts £5, but whether someone who can only afford £5 should be gambling at all? Just a thought...

@roulette_rob Bit preachy mate! Everyone starts somewhere. I began with £5 deposits back in 2019 and now I'm a VIP at three different casinos.

The discipline you learn from managing tiny bankrolls actually makes you a better gambler long-term. Better to learn variance with £5 than £500.

@ukgambler99 Exactly! And there's something weirdly satisfying about turning £5 into £50. Did it last month at Mr Green playing Dog House Megaways - hit the bonus round with 117,649 ways and walked away with £47.

Couldn't withdraw it all though because of that minimum threshold, so played Gates of Olympus until I hit £52. Sometimes patience pays off!

Has anyone tried the new SpinYoo casino? Saw they're advertising £1 deposits, though I'm skeptical about how legitimate that is.

Seems too good to be true, and we all know what they say about things that seem too good to be true in gambling...

@tom_slots SpinYoo is UKGC licensed so it's legit, but those £1 deposits come with restrictions. You can only play certain slots (mainly older NetEnt games like Starburst and Gonzo's Quest) and there's absolutely no bonus.

It's basically a marketing gimmick to get you through the door. Once you're in, they'll bombard you with offers to make 'proper' deposits.

Wow, thanks everyone for all the detailed responses! @sarah_g that math really opened my eyes - I had no idea about expected losses.

I think I'll start with Casumo's £5 no-bonus approach, and maybe try SpinYoo with £1 just to get a feel for different games. @withdrawal_king definitely noted about those minimum withdrawals!

This community is brilliant for learning the ropes.

Thread's gone a bit quiet but thought I'd add - Tote Casino does £3 deposits if you're really strapped for cash. It's quite niche (horse racing themed) but they have all the standard Pragmatic Play and Red Tiger slots.

No bonus on small deposits but hey, £3 can give you a decent session on Sweet Bonanza at minimum stake.

@vip_player_uk Tote Casino! Completely forgot about them. Their mobile app is actually pretty smooth too, which matters when you're playing with small deposits - don't want to waste money on lag or crashes.

OP probably sorted by now but good info for future searchers.
